Nora’s Hair Salon 3: Shear Disaster

The salon crew is back!

Delicious (T. Ashanti Mozelle) is in charge of maintaining Nora’s legacy and tradition by running and managing the shop. The dysfunctional group of hairstylists, consisting of Janelle, Nina, Xenobia, Tashina, along with manicurists Ming and Ling, are still up to their old antics.

One day, Charles, a reality show Producer (Miguel Nunez) enters the shop and is captivated by the goings on inside, and proposes that Nora’s hair Salon have its own show. Immediately, the salon crew sign on with hopes of money and fame, but they get more than they bargain for when Charles has ulterior motives for gaining ratings, which include exposing the crew and their drama inside the shop.

After a screening of the first episode in which Janelle (Jennifer Johnson) and Nina (Leila Odom) are shown to be desperate “man hungry” girlfriends who will stop at nothing to get the handsome male client who walks into the shop, everything begins to fall apart.

The screening also exposes Xenobia’s secret past as an exotic dancer, which could jeopardize her son’s admittance into a prestigious school. Ming and Ling are presented as Asian stereotypes, and pastor Devin’s secret past as a gay man is threatened to be exposed.

Now the crew must come together to see that this reality tape never sees the light of day.
